Just got back from a two-day trip to Chicago. It was primarily a business trip — meetings with Shop Local, a vendor for PittsburghLIVE. The highlight was a game at Wrigley Field. Even though the Cubs crushed the Pirates, 11-1, it was worth it just to see a game in the “friendly confines.” Thanks to the folks at Cross Media/Shop Local for the great hospitality!
As a first-timer in the city I was impressed with how clean the sidewalks and streets were, at least in the sections I wandered through. Even around Wrigley Field, it was relatively clean. I also enjoyed the proximity to Lake Michigan. It was warm and muggy the two days I was there, and the beaches were crowded. Not only that, the bike trail along the lake shore was full of bikers, roller-bladers, joggers and walkers.
